Mr. Antonio Colzani and Mrs. Candida Toscano founded the company Colzani Ingranaggi srl in 1989. It was a small company specialized in gear machining and grinding of small and medium gears. The company is managed by their son Marco and daughter Ornella, and the need to meet the demands of the market has led the company to follow a targeted development path: continuous expansion of the machinery , tooling and control/measuring equipment, as well as an indispensable extension of the workshop area and the continuous employment of highly qualified personnel.

Today Colzani Ingranaggi srl has three production sites, 50 employees and a total surface area of 6000 m2. The activities are divided as follows:
- The head office with the lathe and gear cutting department
- Grinding department and air-conditioned unit for metrology.
- A third unit with the large gear milling machines, the rack and pinion department and the bevel gear department, both straight and "Klingenberg".
